I don't know where people are saying that Hill and Hood would be bad together? If you look at any Hood highlight tape, yes he does spot a few times, but his best stuff is in creation. Hill is a guy who help him create on and off the ball. Also, with Nance, Love, and Zizic running pick plays (pop, slide, roll), Hood and Hill will both be deadly.
If I was running things (which I'm not), here's my dream.
Hill
Hood
Cedi
Love
Nance
--Nance has a bit more of an ability to space the floor and allow Love to get a foothold down low on offense. Also, Nance has a bit more of an ability (right now) to get good finishes on pick and pops and pick and rolls with Hood, Hill, and Cedi. Zizic will find his way to starting if he can consistently produce, but I think that Nance is only beginning to scratch the surface of his talent.
Sexton
Clarkson
Smith/Nwaba
Dekker
Zizic
I realize how small my second team is, but I think that JR will be a defensive sub and that Dekker will get minutes if he proves himself. This team will get buckets, especially with JR sitting in a corner like Korver. Clarkson, Sexton, and Dekker can all create off of the dribble against lower talent, which would make them perfect for the second team. These guys can also all run, which will be what Lue wants to do.
Frye/Korver/TT These guys will be end of the benchers and coaches for the young guns. If Lue is truly taking the reigns of his team "back" from LeBron, then he will be running and gunning like the Clippers of old. These lineups will leave Frye, TT and Korver out but for hot shot minutes. I think Frye was signed as a future coach, and a mentor.
It will be really telling what happens in camp, because we have a bunch of hungry, young guns. I think we all assume that Cedi will start, and we all want Zizic to get minutes, but Lue might still go with his vets that he feels comfortable with. That would really suck for us who like to see young guys develop through getting minutes, but Lue has always favored vets.
