2019 Cleveland Browns Regular Season

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Is he better than Chris Hubbard? Yes or not no?

He was a decent left tackle at one time, he has been a better than average starting right tackle for about 4 years. I don't know what his body has left in him as he is only 32, but been through allot of injuries lately and unofficially retired after being signed by the Patriots.

But yes, of course he is better than Hubbard and I think we should give him a look.

probably. but he’s sure as hell better than the dog shit backing him up.

Got to imagine he’ll jump at the chance to be Chris Hubbard’s backup instead of signing with a team who will give him a shot to start.

How many teams still in a legitimate playoff hunt would start him at RT? Not rhetorical -- honest question.

While I'm sure playoff potential is on his list of desires, guy likely just wants an opportunity so he can get a 2020 deal somewhere.

You don't really make that move with the Pats unless you want to go play.

I think he'd actually have a decent chance to get some playing time here. He wouldn't start right away, but then, I'm not sure he'd start right away anywhere else. And it is possible that we have an opening at RT for next season.

This might not actually be a bad landing spot for him. If we don't keep Hubbard, we'd need someone for next season even if we drafted a rookie. Maybe there's some better ones, but I don't think we'd be completely out of the mix.

I honestly don't understand this. We already beat them once in their building, so sweeping them just means winning one game here at home. And while we'll be underdogs, being so certain that we don't have a chance is just foolish. Even great teams have days when luck isn't on their side. Weather, a few key plays going the wrong way, opposing QB getting hot, key guy tweaking a hammy...lots of things can happen to make "certain" wins turn into losses.

I’m just speaking as a fan trying to find the most realistic way for us to sneak into the playoffs. Hopefully the team doesn’t view this as a certain loss of course.

I’m not betting my dog’s life on it, but I think it’s safe to say we should expect to be significant underdogs in the Ravens rematch. Which emphasizes how important it is to take care of PIT, CINx2, and the tricky AZ matchup.

Isn't the Pat's o-line quite pedestrian this year? If they're releasing him... I'm thinking he's got little left in the tank.

There will be a huge amount of Browns fans there all joking aside. There are tons of Browns fans here in the valley, cant wait for that game.
is Anyone interested in having some kind of RCF meet up either some time before the game, or the day of?

There is a thread about this somewhere here, but yes, there will be a meet up somewhere, maybe 2 that weekend.

TJ Watt vs...Justin McCray?

Not good. Not good at all.

Watt plays LOLB and doesn't move around much, so it will be Watt vs. Hubbard and Dupree vs. McCray, should Robinson miss the game.
