2019 NFL offseason thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Pretty sad, his career is almost certainly over now

Yup, this is definitely a case of what could have been.

Is it though? He really didn’t show much while here. Had piss poor attitude when he had to earn playing time, we saw that on Hard Knocks. Traded to Buffalo for 7th rounder, released by them less than a month later. Giants are his 4th team in 4 years. Did well as a returner for them but that’s about it.

Yeah, I wouldn't say that either, but it's sad that his last chance is ended by tearing an ACL.

Coleman also was in the running to start for the Giants... he was having a really productive summer. He may have still sucked, but now we will never know. It is sad, because the kid had a ton of talent, but his piss-poor attitude early in his career may have fucked his future.

True, but do they have any NFL WRs after Shepard?

Ratley or Louis will end up there after being cut here.

AJ Green carted off today, but initial reports are it's not that serious.

I wonder if the Browns take a flyer on him. He’s young, immature, and seemingly a bit overweight.

But Nkemdiche has a ton of raw talent and would be added as a guy with almost no expectations. He would be a backup, rotational defensive linemen. In a worst case, he’s a camp body that you can cut.

Rosen...oof.

Looks like that change of scenery didn't help much.

At least he can look forward to when Fitz hits his annual slump; the Fins fans can't, though.

I strongly dislike Rosen, and will continue to root against him, because he pouted about the possibility of being drafted here.

This could be trouble for the Colts. They said the same thing about Durant during the finals.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck will not practice for the next two days as he continues to manage a calf injury, according to coach Frank Reich.

Luck did not practice Tuesday, following an off-day for players on Monday.

Luck told reporters that he felt pain in the calf during Sunday's practice. He acknowledged that the idea of surgery was previously discussed but determined not to be necessary.

"The nature of it is a calf strain. I say lower leg because I feel pain in my ankle area. I've had images and X-rays and everything, and my Achilles is not at extra risk. There is no tears or swelling or anything that's indicated," he said.

Reich also said Luck would not play in the Colts' preseason opener, a decision made months ago. The coach would not commit to Luck's status for the second and third preseason games.

Luck said he would be ready for Week 1 of the regular season.

Luck missed the Colts' OTAs and minicamp after injuring his calf during the spring. General manager Chris Ballard said Wednesday that Luck would be limited for the first 7-10 days of camp because the team didn't want to rush him back.
