2019 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
How come it seems like if you defended between the hashes the Ravens wouldn’t have completed a pass?

Blitzing these backers to try to get to Lamar and stop the run and they leave the middle of the field WIDE open.

Russell Wilson is okay and all, but me thinks he’ll get exposed in the playoffs by a good team.

The Rams demise was soooo easy to predict.

Almost as easy as the Falcons’ after they choked the Super Bowl.

Ravens might win a playoff game this year, but the Patriots will be in the Super Bowl again.

Not sure the game would be in Foxbough. Pats schedule is a bit tough. They got the Texans and Chiefs. Ravens got to play the 49ers, the rest is a cake walk.

Lot of it will depend on where they game is, and how done Tom Brady really is. The Brady we've seen, I don't love the Pats chances. But to be fair, they've played in some bad weather games and are missing guys. So we'll see.

Jared Goff is a total fraud. McVay should abandon ship and come home to Ohio.

It was never going to happen, but I remember the sabremetrics-nuts on footballoutsiders were suggesting going full moneyball and letting Goff walk, with the possibility of starting over with either a drafted QB on a rookie contract, or a significantly discounted Mariota.

Super Mariota would still probably be a borderline bust in McVay's system, but it would be interesting to see what he could do with innovation.

Ravens are the truth. Fuck.

That said...the Rams lost to the Steelers, and had pretty unconvincing wins against us and even the Bungles. Besides their divisional losses, they also gave up 55 at home against Tampa.

Our game against the Rams was the only, or nearly the only, "Upset Watch" from footballoutsiders that the underdog didn't pull through this season, I think, which makes it almost as much a backbreaker as the Seahawks/Denver/Tenn games.

The Rams problems aren’t all that dissimilar from Cleveland.

Goff isn’t in rhythm, and that’s what he thrives on to be effective.

Not close to the same team they were on the ground in 2019, not close to the same OL they were in 2019 either.

Id imagine they’ll get their swing back next year.

Embarrassing, they just showed a shot of the fans. No one there. NFL should be embarrassed moving two teams to LA.

I know the game is over and that is part of it. But they just don't give a shit. Place has been quiet all night.

I feel like Gurley was their engine, and now that he's breaking down, the vehicle isn't running like it used to.

Sounds like the 200 remaining Rams fans left have turned into Ravens fans.
