2019 Series #1 | Indians @ Twins | March 28th, 30th, and 31st

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Dodgers have hit four times as many home runs as the Indians' total hits today.

Well, with injuries this lineup doesn't stand a chance against guys like Barrios. Maybe tomorrow.

I will say with 100% certainty we don't lose tomorrow. Willing to bet a lot of money on it honestly.

It’s just one game, but still...

Watching Roberto Perez struggle to hit .160 this year is not going to be fun.

Realizing this lineup, even with Lindor and Kipnis back, is still average at best. That sucks.

Anyone worried Lindor might miss an extended amount of time btw?

Also, I’m concerned that teams figured out Jose down the stretch last year. He looks terrible, seems like he is out in front of everything. Can’t hit a breaking ball.

Here is the list of players we let go (am I missing anyone?)

Encarnacion
Alonso
Brantley
Chisenhall
Gomes
Allen
Miller

Hard to believe we will be better than we were last year. When we got annihilated by the Astros in three games.

Anyway, it’s baseball, just one game. Still, super depressing to watch. Especially knowing where we were just a couple years ago.

Have to wonder if the Indians will recover from this loss

Have to wonder if Tito can recover from batting Naquin 3rd, and our bottom 3 class A players showing no hope.

Which is true, but that shit wasn't fun today. Frankie could have a rough season for all we know.

Yeah today was pretty brutal and yes the team is very top heavy where a down year or injury for Lindor/Jose could drastically affect the season.

So far 11 teams have been held to 2 runs or under today, including 5 teams (Indians included) who were shut out. And if you remember last year, the Indians offense was one of the worst in the league for all of April. Not going to freak out that today's lineup, missing 3 future starters, was shut down by Berrios

Game 1 offense we thought was going to struggle was without 2 bats that we are going to need to rely on, struggled. That is no shock. Onto Game 2

Other note, both Yandy Diaz and Erik Gonzalez got hits.
