2019 Series #37 | Indians vs Rangers | August 5th, 6th, and 7th

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Goody has been very stellar this year, count him in with the likes of Roberto, Plesac as unexpected overachievers. Shit, you can even call Beiber's dominance as unexpected.

That ball Jose crushed looked like a soft fly ball to me at first glance, then the OF just kept watching it go lol.

Reyes needs a day or two off...reset

Yep, I'd give him the second game of the double header off tonight. Keep Freeman in the lineup, put Kipnis back in, and DH either Lindor, Jose, or Carlos.

He's trying way too hard.

I think he will settle down in due time, especially since he is friends with guys like Jose, but I know its easy to press when you come to a new team, especially in the middle of a pennant race.

Now the question is who do we use to close out the game? Go with Hand or go with someone else?

Best start at the MLB level by Plesac IMO. Mixed in a lot more breaking balls and used his change to pitch backwards more than as an out pitch. Command is a bit off (think a bit of fatigue is catching up to him) but those kind of starts are sustainable. Hope he keeps using his slider more.

Why wouldn't you go with Hand? You go with your closer and hope it doesn't get to that point next game.

We do need someone to prove they can do the role of being the spot closer you could say. Thats been one thing I havent seen from our bullpen so I wouldn't mind seeing if someone could step into that role here soon.
