I don't like Carrasco in that spot to begin with. Why not last night in a no pressure situation? Get the jitters out in front of the home fans. But leaving him in after the bomb?

I would qualify a hold as a high leverage spot. Plus, he had Cookie face the top of the order.

Agree 100% with tonight’s situation being less than ideal, but he didn’t pitch yesterday because they want to wait a bit before having him pitch in back to back games.

I see where you’re coming from, but even Jensen Lewis, of all people, said “So much for no high leverage spots” when they cut to Cookie going to the mound. Plus, he was warming up the previous inning when it was tied, which means the plan was to go to him before Berto’s homer.
