2020-21 Buckeyes Basketball

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Lets beat these cucks.

Missed a dunk and a layup the last two times down. That's the way to put a game away!

Groundhog day. Here we go again.

Missed dunk, turnover in the backcourt, turnover in the front court.

This is honestly... inexplicable.

Phew. This team just refuses to put teams away :chuckle:

I'll take the wins, though.

Wow. That was a terrible shot. Lucked out big time.

I’ll take it.

No go to scorer. maybe Lidell gets there next year, but definitely not this year. Also their offense doesn't seem to get them easy looks.

This team kinda reminds me of the 2002 football team. Every game being unnecessarily close and coming down to the bitter end :chuckle:

They get plenty of easy looks most of the time.

Their problem is they all, collectively, shit themselves when the game is on the line. They suddenly can't dribble, pass, set a good screen, and get open. Holtman just gonna give another shitty presser about it as if saying "It's March" means your team collapsing every single game is ok.

Not sure if it's coaching to find the "best shot" or what but it hasn't been working. I would've kept the ball in Washington's hands and told him to go win the game. Easy to say in retrospect but we lack confidence down the stretch even though we get guys hot throughout the duration of the game.

The one issue I have with Holtmann is that we constantly go into run the clock mode with 3+ minutes left. Our offense shuts down and we end up with rushed, bad, shots or turnovers when the clock's about to run out. We got bailed out yesterday because Michigan did the same thing on their last possession. I just don't understand why coaches seem to think running the clock is more important than getting a good shot. :conf (8):

The problem isn’t going into running out the clock mode, that’s what you’re supposed to do.

The problem is the offense’s inefficiency within that mode which has me concerned. The turnovers and shot selection are tough to watch when they wind up rushing through the final 15 seconds of a possession.
