Hernandez takes a ball, but that doesn't convince him to wait for a strike. He grounds into a DP, partly because Lindor doesn't hustle and doesn't slide.

When I taught kids to play baseball, I had a hard abd fast rule.

If the batter before you walks, you do not swing at a pitch until you take a strike.
