I just don't understand why more people don't have James Wiseman as the consensus #1 overall player in this draft. He is by far the best talent in this draft to me.
He played three games in the past calendar year, but it wasn't due to injury. Usually if a player has so little public exposure, it's because he got banged up.
I agree with you that he is the real prize. Golden State lucked out by being #2, and moreso lucky that the T-Wolves are one team that can't add another center. The possibilities for the Warriors is mind-blowing considering their front office and ownership have shown they will do anything to win in the present window.
Patrick Williams?
Are we really going to pick Toppin? :O
One thing people freaked out about 6 weeks ago was this 2 minute long video of him shooting these crazy high release jump shots. Video got taken down within a few hours and subsequently it was said he was just goofing around after a workout with a friend but a lot of people freaked out that that was his new shooting motion.I've really warmed up to Devin Vassell after watching some more tape, how come the buzz on him has been so quiet?
He seems to have a lot more off the bounce game than given credit for and if he can continue developing that, his 3&D reputation could be shed pretty quickly... Regardless, even if he is a 3&D player, he's pretty efficient and pretty good at that... But given his skillset, size, length, age and character, I'm surprised he hasn't gotten more consideration as the best all-around wing in this draft..
I really do like that Khris Middleton comparison...
