That’s true. Maybe I’m overly optimistic, but I see how they played under JBB last year, I know that our young players are a year older, and how we’re adding Windler & Okoro to the rotation. I also figure Drummond is going to be motivated in a contract year. I see a much improved team whereas other teams, like Orlando, Chicago, & Washington have done little to improve themselves.
I’m sure.....they’re hideous!
Yikes, not sure about these.
They lost quite a few games simply because they could not stop anyone. If they can even be top 20 defensively I think they win 5-8 more games. I think that is possible. I hope JB starts to take guys out who are lax on defense. He did it to some extent in his short stint. He ran with Tristan Nance quite a bit because the got stops and he was able to win games that way.
I don't expect 15 more wins or whatever the equivalent is, but ~10 is possible.
Zero improvement = better coachingI think there could literally be zero improvement from individual players or from additions, and we would still expect to do 5-6 games better simply because of coaching.

I'm pretty sure the Rockets talked to every team that have contracts that would match in a trade. Probably just due diligence.
Thoughts? Someone has spent too much time in a basement..
Yes, I totally agree. We talk about how players know their weaknesses like Sexton talking about what he needs to improve or Okoro realizing his shot is flat. Bickerstaff knows and has explicitly stated the team's weaknesses.
Why J.B. Bickerstaff is the Coach the Cavs so Desperately Need
When John Beilein stepped down as the Cavaliers head coach, everyone thought it was another...clesportstalk.com
"Their offensive rating has gone from 24th overall, to 21st post All-Star break – when Bickerstaff took over – going from 106.3 to 109.9 points per game. Their defensive rating went from 29th in the league before the All-Star break to 17th afterward, with their exact rating going from 115.1 to 113.1 points allowed per game."
It's for sure a small sample size, but it's just hard to ignore how much harder the team played after the change. They also just looked like they played more together. They beat a team that made it to the finals, and one that made it to the WCF in that stretch. If that offensive and defensive rating held, they would definitely be in the conversation for the play in tournament, which I think should be the goal.
Not a great shooter but nobody can deny his all out energy and “willingness” to defend! And his ability to get to the rim and finish is undeniable! I, for one, would love seeing him in a Cavs uniform.Thoughts? Someone has spent too much time in a basement..
so my sister in law who studied graphic design and is MASSIVELY into music absolutely fucking hates it (i mean we all do). But her biggest protest is the fact that there are 5 (floyd, bowie, sex pistols, who, zepplin) bands from london in here and not include the god damn beatles (who cleveland shares 3 letters with) its a damn tragedy.Absolutely terrible.
the font from different bands is something the stoner kids would come up with at lunch. No maaan you can’t forget Floyd!
