Beat them in the 97 ALDS in 5 games. Sandy hit a game tying HR of Mariano Rivera in the 8th inning of game 4 to stave off elimination. Probably one of the 5 best live sporting events I have ever witnessed.

Lost in 6 games in the 1998 ALCS. Yankees set a then AL record for most wins. Indians lead series 2-1 before losing the last 3.

Beat them in 4 games in the 2007 ALDS. Game 2 was the infamous midge game.

Lost in 2017. Game 2 was a great Indians comeback, but all for naught.
