Until he shows me otherwise, healthy post-season LeBron is still the best in the biz. Giannis is a very close second though.
I agree…..People forget a healthy Nets team beat the bucks , pretty easily last year, and when Jokic gets his team to the conference finals let along to the finals, then come talk to me…..But I would take Durant second behind a healthy Bron

Lakers way ahead of the Thunder tonight after the previous two embarrassing losses. Bron has 23 at the half.

.......last year didn't show you otherwise??

Durant is a clearly better player than LeBron at this point lol.

On both ends.

It's ok to not think LeBron is the best in the NBA anymore. If you were building a team solely for 1-2 post-seasons ahead and no consideration beyond that, he's still one of the first 2-3 guys you take in the whole league.

It's still pretty amazing how good he is and how much he can still do at such a high level at this age and after the sheer number of minutes he has played.

Lebron is incredible, but it's getting to a point where the reserve is being emptied earlier to carry that team. I still think they'd be a tough out, but their lack of depth and complimentary basketball will not go away.

I always hoped when father time came knocking that LeBron’s game would gravitate towards the basket. where he could utilize his strength quickness and coordination over bigs. The opposite is happening. He’s becoming more perimeter oriented and just driving less.

I don't think he is. He isn't playing like he is.

I guess it's possible he's in LeCoast mode and trying to save his legs for the playoffs but at some point they need to start winning some games. He's taking 8 threes per game. This is far and away his career high. Only making 33% of them. His free throw attempts are at an all-time low.

He's FG% on 2PA is the highest it's been in years. but he's attempting less FG directly at the basket than any other point in his career. Loss of athleticism? Lack of spacing? Probably both.

The roster couldn't be worse constructed for an old LeBron James.

I'm holding out hope that we get to witness one more healthy LeBron playoff run. It's a different animal.

good post. He doesn’t get enough credit for his 2020 title run. It was one of his greatest and an incredible achievement at age 35. But it might be his last.

He is still however a top 10 player in the league (26-6-7 at a 57% effective fg percentage). He just physically can’t carry an entire team for weeks/months like he used to. I think he understands that, he’s smart. A lot of the stuff that got him tagged as egotistical was just him doing things that worked to get teams to the Finals year after year. Unlike some others I would actually love to see him come back here and win a last title with us. I think he could be an extremely effective gap filler on a good team.
