2021 College Football Season/Playoff Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Soft like that UM booty tonight

Yeah. Tough one. Too bad we couldn’t have played OSU again. Would have definitely been more enjoyable.

Instead, we get to watch Saban win another title. Yay.

IMAGINE!

Guys, imagine if our field goal kicker made a kick so we could have lost to Clemson 31-3 or 31-6 instead of 31-0 in 2016. We'd all feel so much better about ourselves!

....said no one. Ever.

You had 215 yards and 9 first downs in that game.

You wish you actually had a chance to kick a FG.

I feel like that game is actually lost a little bit.

This game isn’t even close to that one.

OSU could barely move the fucking ball. LOL.

The only hope for GA is that no one and I mean no one is picking them to to beat bama.

Really dumb hit (physically reckless and obvious targeting) when the game is put away. Easy score.

Are you really enjoying this?

No. But the glass house stuff is great. OSU objectively played the worst semi game anyone has ever seen.

I generally hate that the B1G can’t get their shit together though.

Michigan is a better team than this but it is a results based game.

Their game plan sucked but hopefully this game drives home that McCarthy is their future.

You can’t play conservatively in the semis. If your initial gameplan doesn’t work, you can’t wait until you are down 3 scores to throw it away.

Hopefully they’ll retool and see if the offense can be the unit that carries them more next year.

Who cares?

OSU also is the only school to beat Clemson and Bama in the CFP if we’re gonna cherry pick results.

Who is cherry picking results?

OSU fans laughing about a bad semi performance was just funny to me.

Michigan played bad, it happens.

Beat OSU, won a B1G, CFP appearance. Season was a success.

Take it on the chin and see what happens next year.

Sure but baked around that game is:
A title(beating Bama/Oregon
A really well played loss to Clemson in the 2019 playoffs
And a Semis win against Clemson in 2020

Michigan finally for the first time in a decade beats Ohio State and proceeds to get waxed, scoring a meaningless end of game TD to up there point total to 10.

If finding one big time Ohio State game in which we performed worse amongst all the other appearances that Michigan can only dream of is sort of a weird flex.

Of course fans enjoy when their rivals lose.

Edit - should add that if you thinks it’s funny that OSU fans are talking smack about a bad semi because OSU played a bad semi, probably not a great look to brag about beating OSU once in 10 years.

Let me get this straight.

You actually took the time to look up the box score of that game.

You saw that OSU attempted 2 FG's.

And you chose not only to ignore that, but then to lie about it?

Holy shit man, this is actually sad. I mean, damn. Congrats for your FG and garbage time TD; a Michigan instant classic! Coming soon to BTN!

Yeah man. This pathetic Michigan team dragged your ass up and down the field.

To be fair, OSU didn’t get close enough to get a garbage time TD.

Good to see Georgia could lift your spirits. Really pulling for you against Utah.

An anomoly followed up by a turd of a game in the playoffs until proven otherwise, but one that does count and you get to feel good about.

If Michigan wins again next year or at any time in the next 2-3 years, then they can come bag to the big kids table and actually talk.

Until then, congrats on the winning against Ohio State for the second time in 18 years

I'm just glad you guys get to raise a banner for not getting shutout. You can even talk shit to Michigan State fans about that!!

:chuckle:
