Between this and the inconsistencies on how targeting is called, it's really frustrating to watch. Refs absolutely have a bigger impact on the game at the college level.

I think it’s more the rules and how they are written. But agree they affect the game more than they should.

They've already said that a seven point loss to a ranked Oregon team early in the year is worse than a loss to an unranked A&M team later in the year, so just more of the same, I guess?
