I disagree. The upside of getting Oladipo back into the fold at even 75% of what he was before is too great to simply dismiss.Coming right off a catastrophic injury shooting 13 shots per game with a 27.1 USG rate with 29.5/23.1 shooting split explains their immediate 6 game losing streak after being inserted immediately into the starting lineup. I think an honest conversation is in order because there is not much time to get the rust off. Sabonis and Brogdon should be the 1-2 options for this year this year then re-assess VO's role next season.
The Pacers, led by Sabonis and Brogdon aren't winning the East. However, if they can manage to get Oladipo producing again, and he's made improvements already, they are a dangerous team.
