2022-2023 NBA Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Olynk is going to single-handedly lose the game for that Jazz

Um, I dunno. He made multiple threes here late in this game.

He can't handle Gobert on the glass, but that's not his fault. They're chosing to play this style because of what it does for them on the offensive end. Not working out here late.

EDIT: Now, Olynyk convincing his coach to blow a challenge and TO on his obvious foul on the rebound there was pretty dumb.

I'm watching this Rockets game and Jabari Smith is absolutely chucking the ball right now.

He's launching as soon as it touches his hands literally every single time.

Eason is a better player than Smith right now. Which is ok, Eason is a good deal older than Smith.

But this is a carry over from summer league where this was true too. Smith hasn't looked good yet. He's not rebounding the ball. He's not making any open 3s. He's not seeing the court for shit.

Very entertaining game. Miss Marky

I forgot Chauncey Billups was a coach now.

NBA has a lot of very talented teams this year.

There's gonna be some shock playoff misses due to that.

Very true. It’s got me worried. We traded our entire decades worth of draft picks on the assumption that once we addsd Mitchell we had enough budding talent to contend. But the talent level of the whole league is skyrocketing. Not sure where we stand relative to the competition

This might be the best the league has ever been

Nuggets on the road withstanding a furious Warriors comeback and handling the defending champs. You love to see it

Bruce Brown was a great get for them, clutch player and great role player energy - he might be the next PJ Tucker. Not sure Jamaal Murray will ever be an all-star quality player again

Good thing Jokic didn't get hurt there. He was SMOKIN' em. Nice to see him with actual help on the court against that team.
Draydonk hacks Joker more than he actually plays defense.

So here is where Rich and I align 100%. League is deep this year. Probably the worst teams are Lakers and OKC..

Banchero clearly playing like ROY, when to me, I was not even sure he was a top 4 pick.. Frigging Portland getting wins, and Laurie going Allstar in Utah.. Knicks dominating.

But NO is looking real good right now. And it isn't Williamson so much as the entire squad lighting it up. Griz + friendly refs are a tough out.

Just not going to be a lot of easy wins around the league. Injuries will drive who is in or out IMO, as much as anything. Right now, to me the Heat and the Sun's look like they might not make it this year.

Gary Trent Jr with another eye poke in the game against the Nets. 2 games 2 pokes. Raptors are so damn reckless

Jordan Poole tries to trip Jokic
