Michael Thomas is a dick too. The talent is there, though, and that’s all that really matters.

I don't think the talent drop off from 12 to 32 in this draft was that stark. Hell, I think they got the more impactful safety in Cine than the Ravens did in Hamilton.

They must have really wanted him so they did what they could to get him. You aren't always gonna get the most friendly of deals in division lol Though I will double check later, I don't think the deal was unreasonable.

Watson is being accused of doing some bad things, but I’ve never heard anything negative about him as a teammate or locker room guy.

Yeah I can see how that's the case... I just would've thought moving from 12 to 32 would net a future 1st or something. That's a steep 1st round drop even in this class.

I think it's a bad trade, value wise, but it certainly makes sense from the perspective of talent. They are going to get 3 very good players with those picks. For as bad as the 1st round was, there are like 50 guys out there that would go in the 2nd round in most drafts on day 2. Tons of talent.

They also did basically exactly what I did in the mock. I got Walker instead of Thibs but also drafted Neal.

Yeah, they were lucky the draft fell perfectly for them. Teams were weirdly out on Thibs because of "reasons" and Carolina wanted, I guess, positional flexibility. Evan Neal and Andrew Thomas as your tackles, and KT as your primary pass rusher, that's the buildings of a great team. They ever find a QB, they can regain the NFC East crown pretty quickly.
