(Edited my comment)They had a backup TE blocking him 1-on-1.
If it was Charlie Woerner, I'm perfectly fine with that assignment

I think you come into this saying you're okay with any of Trent Williams, Mike McGlinchey, George Kittle or Charlie Woerner blocking him. "Look guys, he's fast but not that strong. Make sure you get deep into your drops if you're lined up against him."They had a backup TE blocking him 1-on-1.
Just saw your edit: even if that’s the case, you’d think they’d want to play the guy who’s second in sacks a little differently. The QB has already been blown up twice now, and that second one was close to being a fumble.
The refs single handedly orchestrated this drive
If it was the Browns we wouldn’t have gotten a single callNiners are playing bump and run coverage, but I honestly see the Eagles receivers initiating a lot of contact. The call almost always goes against the defense. Just a really annoying trend in the NFL that I've been seeing all year.
They just showed the replay again. It was Kroft.I think you come into this saying you're okay with any of Trent Williams, Mike McGlinchey, George Kittle or Charlie Woerner blocking him. If that play was one of the other 49er tight ends like Dwelley or Kroft, then yeah, that's not a matchup you want.
