Civale pitching batting practice. Time to DFA this meatball
 
The league figured out Civale and he's not adjusting well

Back to a 10.18 ERA, send him down
 
Civale has had an issue tipping pitches in the past...
Wondering if he is having issues with that again..

Before you DFA him, please note that he still has options available... Send him to the minors to work on items 1st..

Edit: at least the bullpen is well rested coming into today...

His last start he struggled in the first and didn't allow anything after that...

Edit: Also he had less time this spring being a player rep, plus he was reworking his pitches. I think he tried to do to much maybe in a short time and that got him all messed up...

Personally Civale will be fine in the second half.
 
Will Civale shake off a tough first inning like Pilkington and Plesac did?

Hope he can repeat it. His K/9 and BB/9 are solid, but his GB rate is almost half of all his other years. And his BABIP is very high. Guys are hitting him hard and in the air.

Wouldn't mind O-Gon getting some reps at DH anyways, some of these Guardians have their head up their butt knowing they can perform way better.
