2022 Season Series #34 | Astros @ Guardians | August 4-7, 2022

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I record the games to watch when i can. I pay $200 to watch the fucking games on my provider and when they do shit like this it just pisses me off.
StreamLocator: $80
MLB.TV Subscription: $129.99
NBA.TV India Subscription: $19.99
DAZN Canada Subscription: $199.99

That's my entire sports package. MLB, NBA, NFL all covered. DAZN Canada was $150 last year. Price hike this year. The only games that aren't on MLB.TV, I think, are the Apple+ games.

Watching the post game interview, I like Tristan's new haircut. I still think his voice sounds like McLovin.

G's go 10-8 on the 18-game meat grinder to start the second half. Really good, better than I expected considering the competition.

If Quantrill and McKenzie can keep pitching like this the rest of the way this could get very interesting.

Am I the only degenerate with IPTV subs that offer a million channels worldwide lol including PPV, Sport packages, etc. Maybe it's just not convenient for people to screw around with is when it acts up.

I'm used to the Guardians losing on one bad pitch so it's nice to see it go the other way.

If our catchers keep getting hits and drawing walks no telling where this team can go.

Getting that crazy relief pitcher who flips the ball all over the place doesn't hurt, either.

I used to go IPTV, or just pop open StreamEast, GrandmaStreams, etc. That works great if your method of consumption is just you at your computer.

My best IPTV experiences were Black and White (shut down) and whatever IPTorrents would offer.

They're just too unreliable and inconvenient for the household though.

Nice to listen to a game rather than watch once in a while. Sucks that it's basically forced. The 12 people that watched on Peacock got a great game though!

Toronto draws first blood in Minnesota and lead the Twins 1-0 in the middle of the second.

Archer has already thrown 45 pitches, including 17 foul balls.

It took him an unimaginable 26 pitches to get the last three batters in the second.

I'll usually have 2 subs, and 6 different devices. If one goes out, I have a backup, very seldom does both go out, and they don't go out for long. Can be inconvenient though, understand that. Saved a ton of money and still feel like I get everything I need.

100%. I get where you're coming from.

It's just so much easier to play the stream on a Roku over MLB.TV, DAZN or NBA.TV. I also plan around 20 people being over for a Sunday Browns game, or more than that for my Super Bowl parties every year. Dealing with a stream going down and having to find another is a non-starter in those situations.

May as get some soccer in or the random shows on there... lol
I already had a Peacock subscription but I can't record the game on my Directv DVR when it's stream only. So I'm at my work residence and on Pacific time so today was an early start. By the time I teach Sunday school, attend church services, go to choir practice, and volunteer at the soup kitchen I missed all of Tristan's performance (j/k, I don't do any of that stuff). When I watch delayed broadcasts I can skip commercials, rewind and re-watch interesting plays and pitches, and really savor the game. I lose all of that when it's a streamed game. So screw MLB for the way they do this.

I get to do all of that live with MLB.TV.

I don't mind getting to the game an hour in, or pausing to put my daughter to bed. It's also nice that the commercial breaks between innings is basically exactly 2 minutes now.

Sometimes when I'm really trying to catch back up, I fast forward between pitches.
