With the division clinched, why is this series important to the Guardians?

Tito has time and wiggle room to set up his rotation and pen any way he wants to. But any team that has to fight for the last...or first...WC spot will have to use their best pitching to win one of those spots, and won't have that luxury.

A best case scenario is for the gap between Tampa, Seattle, and Baltimore to shrink to next to nothing.

Should we win and Baltimore win tonight, the gap between the Rays and Orioles drops to three games, with Seattle right there with them.

I don’t want to play the Orioles. Rather play almost ANYONE else.
