2022 Season - Week 1 - Browns @ Panthers - 1 pm on CBS

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'll be there and really want to give Baker the finger, but I'm sitting in the End Zone, an area of the field he has a proclivity for staying away from.

Why are we expecting throw?

It's not that anyone is expecting throw necessarily. It's just not a video game. The Browns are going to have to successfully execute the passes that are available to them to win and those passes are going to present themselves the entire game.

This idea of running the ball 60% of the time while Brissett is the QB is great, it just isn't really feasible.

There's no doubt in my mind the Browns will throw the ball at least 25 times.

Over/Under on pre-game talking heads disparaging Garrett's "history of violence"?
That NBC crew on Thursday washed right over Donald's helmetgate in practice, talking about it for about five seconds mentioning McVay spoke to him about it and the team disciplined Donald privately.

Donald's interview last week on the incident was he didn't want to talk about anything negative that happened in practice, only positive. "Forget that pedestrian I clipped on the road and most likely left for dead, at least I got home safely".

I hope karma inflicts itself on the Rams for how they handled the situation and Thursday's loss was only the beginning of a long, tumultuous season.

Baker is an emotional statement game type of player. He might not take you to a Super Bowl, but he will give you some random amazing performances. And I think one of those games is going to be this one. My prediction is we get spanked. Baker lights us up, and we shoot ourselves in the foot with a disjointed game plan, penalties, and nobody knowing what to do or what the identity of this team is yet. I hope i'm wrong.

Are folks thinking Baker has a big game assuming Denzel, Newsome, JOK, Myles, JD etc shit the bed?

Yeah, I think people are missing that part.

Sure, typical Browns would be Baker going for 400 and 4 TDs on us tomorrow.

But, we have a top 5 defense that is out for blood.

I'll take our defense in this one. They will give us every opportunity to win tomorrow.

If folks think the Browns current defense is gonna be trash tomorrow, i can accept that as an opinion. It just feels like folks are forgetting who is playing defense somehow.

It's less that, more that I don't trust this team's cohesiveness. Practically the same team as last year and we never appeared to have an identity. Seemed like both on the offensive and defensive side of the ball things were disjointed. A healthy Baker playing with fire could pick that apart. Like I said, I hope i'm wrong.
