I have trouble imagining anyone will ever have 22+ years of 20-25+ ppg scoring without any prolonged major injury issues like LeBron. I think when all is said and done, the scoring record will be the most unattainable record in basketball.

I also happen to believe there won't be much of a GOAT debate to be had statistically outside of the "6-0" rhetoric. LeBron's statistical achievements dwarf any comparable players.
Hard to imagine but possible with the pace and number of 3 pt shots guys are taking nowadays.

Forget 20-25 ppg, Lebron has averaged 25-30 ppg every single year since his rookie year. 19 straight seasons. Just insane.

To be fair Durant has done it 16 out of 17 seasons but technically not “in a row” because he sat out a year due to injury.

The NBA was better with Sheed in it. He was a perfect (pantomime) villain. He wasn’t a bad person but he was a guy you loved to hate as an opponent.

I also have a LOT of respect for that Pistons team. They didn’t have anything close to a superstar but won one title and was a title competitor a few other years.
The exception to the superstar rule. It was fun watching their battles in the early Bron years

Thunder game about to start now. Yay! Speaking of, I peeked briefly at y'all's Cavs game and saw old Thunder Jerome get his first bucket for you guys. Hope he does well for the Cavs.

Chet running the floor well and showing his offensive arsenal early. His skinny frame definitely getting muscled around by the sturdy Vucevic though.

OKC up six at the half. Loving the starting five with Chet, Jalen, SGA, Giddey, and Dort. Bench was weak, however, and the Bulls definitely have the physicality advantage with bodies like Drummond and Vucevic. But I'm feeling confident they can win this. No one on OKC is as dumb as Coby White. He took away about three baskets from his own Bulls team by doing the most idiotic crap. :biggrinthumb:

LOL I'm thinking Coby White just hates Vucevic. He's outright refused to pass to him several times when he's posting up a smaller mismatch in the paint. Loving this guy's bird brain -- it's helping out OKC a lot.

Beautiful ball from OKC. Splendid ball movement. Bench heating up, too: Cason Wallace 19 year old great debut, takes great shots and plays smart within the flow of the offense. Dieng and Joe have hit some long balls as well. After a slow start from 3-ball, OKC now 16/34 from deep range. Up 102-84 now early in the 4th.

What a fine night -- blowout win for OKC, Cavs and Heat win nail-biters with Love going +5...all three of my teams won! To make matters nicer, you guys' game thread was so over-the-top positive and uplifting, I really felt the optimism and love going on there, you sure sounded like you all had fun tonight! :playful::lgh (21):
