We've got at least 3 more games for a bash bros sighting. Okoro and Niang did well today.
If Mobley could do what he did in the first half offensively consistently, that changes everything. Not just this season but next season and the next ten seasons.
He forced them to abandon their original defensive gameplan. They were trying to put guards on Mobley all first half and he was taking advantage of it in the paint. I'd say that in and of itself was pretty successful. It wound up opening things up for Mitchell and others in the second half.
That being said, Orlando was more disruptive on the perimeter in the second half and made it much harder to get into good offensive sets. Because of that, we saw fewer opportunities for Mobley. All that being said, the Cavs need to find more ways to get him touches in the paint even if he's not getting shots. He draws a lot of attention and can create space for others.
