Very immpressed with CPJ and i thought Bates played well too. Several time Bates showed some toughness on the boards that surprised me.

Yeah, Bates had six boards, third highest on the team.

Porter has the quickness to get dribble penetration almost anytime he wants and an excellent vertical to avoid getting his shot blocked. I don't know how he went undrafted.

What didn't show up, Bates contested and blocked a few shots that got whistled dead before the block. One his teammates know he's capable of coming offball for support; those numbers will go up.

Bates is a player, no reason to waste his time in the GLeague.

IMO, Mobley is still on track for turning into an all-star caliber player. If you look at players like Garnet and Giannis, they didn't start averaging 20ppg until their 4th year, and right now, Mobley is treading in that direction.

treading is right ... as in stationary and not moving.

Basically Bates and Craig need playing time, but can't find time when healthy for both. Craig to replace Ty, but where does Bates fit? i'd love to build his confidence and chemistry with the team.
