2023-24 Season | Game #60 | Knicks @ Cavs | March 3, 2024 | 7:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Mitchell and LeVert feel like a package deal sometimes. Either they both play or both don't.

So if we lose this game tonight, will people go on and on about how it’s the same thing as last years playoff, ignoring the fact entirely that Mitchell and LeVert aren’t playing?

Edit: I’m talking big picture. Obviously if JBB does something like play Garland and Strus 40 minutes each, that’s of course fair game for criticism

Sammy better soak these new York Muppets

Well, the Knicks are playing without 3 of their starters (Randle, Anunoby and Robinson) and have been awful of late, losers of 4 in row

I can’t recall Mitchell ever playing after JBB’s straightforward statements

So pretty meaningless game in the context of what a matchup in round two would actually look like….

As a regular season game with both teams current available players, totally fair to be up or down on the results of tonight’s game but doesn’t say much about an early May matchup imo

IMO, it’s means we had better win; it‘s another opportunity to gain some separation from the Knicks and to try and stave off the Bucks for the 2-seed

In the first two games against the Knicks Donovan averaged 28 and Caris 19. Nobody else averaged more than 10, but Garland did not suit up for either game.

The Garland/Brunson matchup should be interesting. Brunson is better so we'll see if Garland can hold his own. We're going to need Allen and Mobley to be strong on the defensive glass as both Hartenstein and Sims are bigger and more physical. Guys like Okoro, Strus, and Wade need to help on the defensive glass. Niang and Merrill need to hit some 3's.

Strus is 1-for-12 on 3's against the Knicks this year. That needs to change.

Milwaukee has turned it around, winning five in a row, so it would be nice to get a win playing at home against a depleted Knicks roster that has lost 8 of 11. We have a lot of tough games coming up.

Oh I want us to win and absolutely want best seeding possible.

Just not seeing this game with both teams available players as having any connective relevence to last years playoffs series and vice versa
