2023-24 Season | Game #72 | Hornets @ Cavs | March 25, 2023 | 7:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
46 FGM, 41 assists, season high. Weak opponent but still good to see offense working well.
Yes yes

My thinking is that these guys are human. Sometimes you just need to click with your teammates kinda like a shooter just needs the to see the ball go in sometimes.

It's always tough playing the same team twice in a row so lets see what we look like in Charlotte on Wednesday.

Cavs bounce back on the second night of a back-to-back.

Who is worse - Hornets or Wizards?
The Wizards have Ty Jones (who's an unrestricted FA), Avdija, and no one else I'd want on my team. The Hornets have Mark Williams, Miller and Ball (who in fairness, may not even average 50 games over a course of a season). If I was Charlotte, I'd hope to find a trade partner willing to give decent value for Ball before people start to question whether he's Exum 2.0 on a max deal. But they at least have two building blocks.

I agree but maybe giving the guys a much needed confidence boost? Lol

Just goes against every ounce of common sense.

You just got done saying in a press conference, last night, that the team was tired and worn down.

So then.........

The second best player of all time @PIP and arguably worst player personnel guy of all time in MJ may have got a good one in Brandon Miller.

We will see.

Ball movement was snappy..
Garland getting right to it rather than dribbling 5 seconds away. He was jumpy in a good way, they could not follow him..
Niang hitting everything , Sam showing the Flame thrower and Okoro making triples and putting the clamps on the hot hand..

Lots of physical no calls in the game, one of which goes Mobleys way. Cavs are going to have to learn the new rules, and Morris is going to help in thar department. Good all around game fro. Mobley And Allen.. very encouraging.

Hey its the Hornets so not too much to celebrate, but the touch passing is really something special when it's going on..

I feel like we were all getting just a little too locked in on “our team SUCKS man!” and seeing them play against a team that actually sucks tonight was a useful corrective

Obviously, it’s the god damn Hornets so Whoopty Doo.

At the same time, wholly necessary for these guys to see their shots go down from 3P, which often has little to do with the opponent.

If they had lost tonight, every single one of them should have signed a person man servant contract to Mitchell with how reliant they are for his play and leadership to look like a functional team.

For several players and the head coach, these playoffs are an absolute mandate. Roll over and get punked in the first round and no one besides Mitchell(if he re-signs) is safe.

Advance to round two and look like you belong their against your round two opponent and you may make a case to continue growing together (for at least most of the players)

Gonna be a very interesting offseason and I’ve pretty much checked out in the rest of the regular season as meaning much at all until the playoffs unfold. I don’t mean that as an excuse or as a judgement in anyone in the organization, just don’t have the emotional energy at the moment to get too involved . We could finish the year 10-0 and I wouldn’t read into it in a positive way(other than enjoying some wins) until I see how the perform in round 1
