Didn't see a thread, so discuss!

Lakers are trash. Too many dumb players. Prince had a really nice game, but we know who he is. D'LO has to be one of the most brain dead players in the league. Both he & Vincent looked like ass. AD disappeared in the 2nd half.

Way too much ball handling by people not named Lebron. I know their plan is to just get to the deadline and consolidate, but this team will be brutal until then.

Watching Gabe Vincent miss all his 3pt attempts has me nervous for Strus. Still 1st game of the season. Old man LBJ is still very efficient and effective. AD needs to be more assertive offensively. Lakers backcourt of Reeves and Russell is rough. Rather have james be the defacto PG and have one of them come off the bench.

I think the Lakers have a good team and will have a good season but they just need injury help to have a shot at making the Finals.

They'll never beat a healthy Nuggets and it has less to do with team construction and more to do with which team just has the better players at this point.

Outside of assembling some type of super roster, Jokic is way way better than Davis and James. They just aren't good enough anymore to compete with him as the best players on their team.

Younger and better.

Not watching the game just looking at the box score… but GSW with the CP3 addition is ancient… starters average age of 33. Was this mentioned on the broadcast? Where does that stack up all time? 97 Bulls are probably up there, couple of the Malone/Stockton era jazz teams before Stockton retired were up there as well… but sheesh. Gotta think the Warriors fall off a cliff after this season.

Phx looks like a team with no good point guard. Bad offensive possessions and a lot of turnovers.

Klay looks bad. CP3 looks bad. Draymond is hurt.

They're not built for a deep run.

More like the Clank Triplets in Game 1
Curry/Klay/CP3

7/31 from 3

I'm curious how Draymond will mesh with Chris. There's a lot of overlap there with how they operate the offense. I'm guessing the coaching staff will eventually keep their minutes more or less separate.

Chris Paul put GSW into a position to win G1 but the cold shooting, bad shot selection, poor rebounding, bad defensive stands was too much to overcome.

Klay? Oof.

Phoenix handled the lack of a point guard well down the stretch. Booker made some good reads and Durant stayed in the passenger seat. Okogie is looking very good for them and will play a huge role going forward. Their role players as a whole had timely moments (Eric Gordon pulled some threes out of his ass late), except for Grayson Allen (still can't stand that guy lol). Nurk stepped up.

Curious how the middie game will work with Beal/Durant/Booker. I suppose they had reps of that setup last year with CP3 in the Beal spot.

AD got cooked by Jokic again.
