Was just messin around. I don't think much of Hyatt at all. This was their #1 WR in 2021
I don’t think they wanted Hyatt. Not a good route runner. Smallish.
Tillman is big, fast, produced when he played and blocks.
I get that, but WRs in a 4-5 set are a dime a dozen. Why not take the defensive or oline BPA and use the later picks on a WR?All personnel moves this off-season definitely point to the Browns running a lot more 4&5 WR sets. Watson excels out of the empty backfield.
I don't see ever him being a vertical threat, but you can bet your ass he'll catch passes in traffic and turn and burn. We're gonna watch him feast in 1v1 matchups and that's the exact WR we needed next to the route running champion and speedy guy in Moore.A lot of draftniks felt Tillman working the sideline routes was better than Hyatt who had generated touches and fly patterns.
Tillman was incredible before Hooker's injury. For my money he is the most physical receiver in the draft class. He's a safe bet as a possession receiver, as he dropped only five of his 104 career catchable targets.
I would have wanted Adebawore or Washington but Watson gets a weapon.
