2023 Season | Series #16 | White Sox @ Guardians | May 22-24, 2023

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
OK - we've got a 48 hour window (give or take a couple hours) to squeeze Mike Zunino's dingerberries of their sweet, sweet juice. Bat him 5 tomorrow!!

This is where the Guardians want to see Beni.. two out.. no one on and a three run lead...

the guys is a professional hitter...

Beni swings through a splitter for the third out.. very good pitching...

Rosario is horrible

Amed continues to impress with his stellar throws to first. What a baseball machine!!!

Aight.... Clase time.. Let's see if he can regain his swagger...

To Luis Roberts: FB.. then all sliders for the K..

To Moncada: Slider, strike one... slider strike two... slider... foul.. still strike two.. fastball.. just off the plate that Moncada just barely gets a piece of.. slider ball one.. pop out on a cut fastball.. two down..

Clase shuts the door!

Sure did not expect Gaddis to throw six shutout innings or Zunino to hit a fair ball, much less one that cleared the fence. But hey, I'll take whatever I can get at this point.

The Sox hit .330 against the Guardians in Chicago but were 3-for-29 tonight against a minor league pitcher. What a difference a venue can make.

This was a nice win for the team in general. Wish they had a bit better offense of course, but Zunino getting in OPPO HR was huge for him. He has been struggling pretty bad of late...

I have an odd thing to propose... Bell to maybe the two hole? He's been hitting and taking a lot of walks... He hasn't hit for power, but he has been focusing on contact and getting on base. He's batting .278/.409/.296 for the month of May... Now it's hard to say who to put behind JRam, but moving Amed down to the 7 hole behind Gimenez, I feel like is the best move...

Bell clog's the bases. They signed him to be a run producer in the middle of the order and he needs to do that. Your 2 hole hitter has already been called up, but he's not getting to play very much. Problem with him is that he might get squeezed out by Rocchio who would be an excellent 2 hole hitter as well.

I get that, but right now, Bell is hitting like what we need from the 2 hole...

We need to rearrange the lineup and Rosario is the starter until he is off this roster. I feel like putting him down in the lineup is what we need. Gimenez moving up, I don't think will work, so we gotta do something different...
