2023 Week 2: Browns @ The Scum-Sucking Steelers.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Predicting that the worst possible outcome will happen doesn't make you an Oracle, it makes you clinically depressed.

Stefanski has always designed the offense to take advantage of great players on his offense and the weaknesses of his opponents. Few coaches can survive losing two All Pros, one unexpectedly when the plan was working, and pull it out in-game.

Will it work out if you predict the Browns will never figure out how to switch identities? Odds are good... but you are also signing up for clinical depression to do this at every sign of conflict.
Checking in as not clinically depressed but a guy who finds it peculiar that every year the organization I root for manages to:

-be terrible
-fall just below expectations
-fall far below expectations

And to do it in often stunning and unpredictable ways regardless of coaching, talent added, talent subtracted.

It’s predictable that they’ll fail. It’s unpredictable, and often historic, how they’ll do it.

He looked good on passing, overwhelmed at times run blocking, What is concerning to me was Wills looked awful on pass blocking, I dont see how he is the long term answer at LT

How many times can the Browns find miraculous ways to lose? Every single year we are stuck with reading shit like so and so gained -7 yards and took the lead to seal the win. Despicable. A win last night makes the Chubb stuff feel just a little bit better about the state of the team going forward.

Last night felt like Stefanski letting Baker walk the plank. Bad vibes all around with Watson. Next week has to be an immaculate gameplan.

I would have felt like absolute shit last night even if they had won.

The Chubb injury… man, out of all the bad luck, the ineptitude, the losing in the past 24 years… this one just hits differently. Can’t just laugh that one away or say “there’s always next year!”

For the first time in a long, long time… I am considering just sitting out football for this weekend, maybe longer.

It’s got nothing to do with them losing, that’s happened so much in the past two decades that I’m conditioned to it… I just feel like shit after watching that happen to Nick of all people. I don’t even think I’d be feeling this way if it had happened to literally anyone else on the roster (maybe Myles?).
