I dont understand why Fry doesnt get more at bats. He is lights out vs lefties, but his OPS this year vs righties is still 750, last year 720 vs both. I know he is 28, old for a guy in his 2nd year, but waiting on others to develop while he is pretty damn good hitter right now seems a bit crazy.

But this is why baseball confuses me, its the only sport it seems 2 in the bush is worth more than a bird in the hand.

How would you use him differently? If it were me you would add Hedges' 25 AB to Fry's 33 and he'd have about the same number of AB as Bo and Brennan.

I don't think it has anything to do with where the birds are in this case.

We need one that can hit 29 HR and slash 286/368/529/897 as a 23 yr old in AA and AAA. Be nice if he could slash 300/410/543/953 in his first 70 AB the following season. If we only had a power righty bat like that.
