Trae Young is easily the worst player in the league that gets some sort of pass, currently rocking a fat -33.
How is Trae different from DG, though? Same size, same skillset, same defensive issues, These types of players are worrisome in this modern NBA.

They are entertaining during the “fun” times of not having winning expectations but their flaws are highlighted if the team is trying to seriously compete.

Good point, although Trae just gives the bare minimum in 'effort' alone on that side of the ball. He went for a steal in the most lazy attempt and just didn't bother hustling to recover. Whereas DG will give some sort of pride on that end and attempt to contest a jumper, attempt to fight through a screen. I thought Murray would provide better defense next to Trae but that team is going into a new direction this summer.

They're saying possible MCL injury for Butler now. I definitely don't think we'll see the same run from the Heat that we did last year. It's too bad because KLove looked really good out there against Philly and I would've loved to see him make it far again. Heat also missed Rozier. Just too many injuries this time around. Meanwhile we'll still see plenty of Lowry's big booty for Philly, so I'm sure he's smug about making it elsewhere, lol.

Well that's unfortunate all around. Boston absolutely breathing a huge sigh of relief. Butler always turns it on the postseason and becomes an entirely different player. Hate that I won't get to see him compete this postseason

He’s owed $43, $46 and $49 million the next three years. Who wants that contract?
I was thinking about this also last night. I don't think anyone likes playing with Trae. He's lazy and selfish. There is no indication that he's a winner. Why would a team invest that kind of money and time in him? With that many years left, its not even a contract you can take on to start a rebuild.

SOMEBODY will think they can win with him. There is always a dummy in the crowd.

Important stat here.

The free chicken definitely fired up the crowd.

TT missing two FTs in the first half at Philly (November OT game) was the only thing that fired up the crowd first 2 1/2 quarters because the Sixers were not playing well.

The Nets qualify. Trade Trae for Ben Simmons. Nets would do that deal. Hawks should then tell Simmons not to bother showing up. His contract expires in a year so Atlanta would be off the hook then.

Or the Hawks could call then Nets and sell them on the idea that Ben and Trae would be a perfect backcourt duo and grab DeJounte and other assets. Not even the Nets are that stupid — are they??

Oh, the Nets are up there on the stupid scale

They have like no first round picks somehow... how does that even happen when you blow a team up?

You live within pissing distance of Barclays and you ask that question? It’s the Nets. They’re idiots. (Assuming your question is rhetorical only; otherwise you need a wellness check).
