He actually sucked last season too. 2019 was the only good season he had.

What round do you think he goes in? No way does Araiza go undrafted. I could even see a team going 3rd or 4th round, he is such a field position changer.

If he were a better FG kicker I could see him sneaking into the 4th, but he isn't, so I'd guess he goes somewhere in the 6th, even with how big of a leg he has. It just seems like with more teams going for it on 4th downs, punters only get a few opportunities a game and I can see teams being reluctant to use the draft capital on a player that would see such limited time on the field. The value that Araiza presents is that he has the ability to pin teams inside the 20 from pretty much anywhere from his own 15 yard line on, and those are the situations teams are almost always punting from, that's why I think he doesn't end up a 7th rounder.

I agree. Seems like there is some sort of untold back story followed by an undisclosed event that lead to his waiver.

If he doesn’t go in 2/3, someone got a Justin Tucker level special teams asset for really, really cheap.
