No one can match Diop’s longevity, physical advantages, and total lack of production. Stiffest of stiffs.

Yes...but are longevity and physical advantages really the true measure of a stiff? I mean...they seem like rather un-stiff like qualities. And Diop could actually play defense. He was just a stiff on offense. So was more of a half-boner than a true stiff. Also, Mihm played in the league for a long time as well. A few ears short of Diop, but 8-9 seasons nonetheless.

I'm with @Randolphkeys on Babic. You watched him play and simply could not figure out why any team would want him other than height.

The "secret" to why Babic was desired was that there were rumors he'd trained with all-time great Arvydas Sabonis. So -- in quintessential Cleveland fashion -- we latched on to him as the second coming of Sabonis, who was an incredibly dominant player when young. But the only thing he had in common with Sabonis was that the were 7 foot tall Eastern Europeans.

Babic didn't even look like he knew what to do on the court.

Martynas Andriuskevicius was so bad that a teammate damn near killed him. Speaking of that, Awvee Storey is coaching in the WNBA... how in the hell was that allowed to happen?

Damn, that sounds like a great story. Andriuskevious would have been a really strong contender, but the poll wouldn't let me add anyone. Only played in 6 games, though. What' kind of remarkable is that despite playing in 6 games, he only played a total of 9 minutes. It was like the coaching staff thought "hey, maybe we'll put him in and see how he does", and then the horror show that was his "game" led them to pull him as soon as possible.

Didn't score a point, either.

I suppose once we pick the team, we can do the same poll every year to see if the consensus has changed.

What happen? Storey coaching or the WNBA existing?

PS, I love dangling participles, lol

Awvee Storey beat the shit out of Marty in practice. Broke his skull, severe concussion, and had a hematoma on his brain. Storey was literally banned from the NBA, so I'm a little confused how he landed a job coaching in the WNBA, let alone how he coached in the G-League too.

Since this is the 50th anniversary season, I proudly nominate a player on the original team: Gary Suiter. Suiter was a 6'9" undrafted center. He averaged 1.4 points and 1.4 rebounds in his only season. In addition, he was a bit of a flake.
Murdered at age 38 reportedly over a gambling debt. R.I.P.

I looked up that guy's stats -- wow. In addition to the ppg and rpg you posted, he shot only 35% from the floor, and under 50% from the line. The pride of Midwestern State University. Didn't play for long, but he may be the stiffest stiff the Cavs have ever had. If he was the kind of guy who bet on himself, it's no wonder he had gambling debts.

The problem is that the poll can't be edited once someone has voted. I've tried. So if me or someone else decides to open it up again next year, make sure he gets added to the nomination thread.

Getting an early start on prediction for the second half-century Cavs All-Stiff team?

Hell, why not? He sucks, Cavs trade for him thinking he was "misused" or "poorly coach", and he ends up looking like the black Milos Babic.

I'm in!

Remember when we broke Andrew Bogut as soon as he came out of the box?

Anthony Bennett has to be on this list. Hes probably at the top of it IMO.

EDIT: Whoops... just realized this is Centers only. Is Anthony Bennett #1 for overall Cavs stiffs tho?
