"Almost impossible" Soriano will back back with Nats

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think we have NO SHOT.. Would love it though..

It would mean Dolan giving the ok to spend money on players not from the farm system or not of 35+ years of age seeking 5-10 days of play a month at the league minimum salary for a career drifter.

We're going to get a very nice Utility Infielder you watch.

well if we spend the money like dolan says he will, we have a shot, its just if we go hard enough.

i doubt he is leaving...

The only time I've seen "Dolan" and "spend money" in the same sentence is when I've seen.

"Larry Dolan will never spend money"

I would rather spend 70 mill on pitching than get another batter in the second best lineup in the American league.

Precisely... We don't need more offense, we need defense and pitching..

Can somebody answer me this... Why cant Soriano stick with a team? He's the friggin complete package and he gets traded around like a friggin AA pitcher.

He was traded for (at the time) the best player in the MLB in A-Rod.

Then traded because he didn't want to play CF and ended up with the Nats...who then made him play CF and he is leaving there because his contracts up.

So only 2 trades really, the 1st one was basically straight up for A-Rod, so it shows his talent.

he strikes out alot, we got season tickets for the nationals so i have seen him play alot, he would have a hell of a lot more homers then if he wasnt playing in a stadium thats next to imposible to hit homers in. he hits alot of first pitches, he is good player, but not very patient at the plate.

We need a second basemen, thats why we bring him in....

yes, but in order to do that...your GM has to spend money. not something he is known for.

Which he is going to do.

Shapiro was on the radio yesterday saying how money is not going to be an issue in getting players this year. It is not tied to revenue and there is no limit as of now on what he can spend to improve the team.
