it would be weird to move andy and still not fill our biggest hole
hmmm
I would argue that our biggest hole is a rim protector and defensive big man

The ideal thing to do would be to trade Bynum to a team that needs a center and/or expiring contract and get at least something out of Bynum that way.
There is one large expiring that has been linked with Varejao in trade rumors for a while now - Pau Gasol. Would it make any sense for CLE, HOU, and LAL to swing a trade with the basic pieces looking something like..
AV, Jack, LAL Pick to HOU
Lin, Bynum to LAL
Asik, Gasol to CLE
?
I just do not see Bynum going back to LA.
In a perfect world that is correct, but by adding Asik it would mean that basically we would have to trade Bynum for nothing but expiring deals in order to keep our full max slot open for this summer. It complicates things alot as far as trade flexibility goes.
Hmmmmm.

Asik complained about playing behind Howard. How different in his eyes would it be behind Bynum?
