Dominos is a ton better since they changed to new crust.
People hate on cheap pizza chains but for some reason I crave it more than expensive pizza.
I don't know why Bennett takes so many threes. He only shot 37% from three in college. That's certainly not bad, but obviously it's harder to shoot threes in the NBA with the extended 3 pt line. So assuming he's the same shooter he was 9 months ago, which is probably the case because of his injury, we're looking at a below-avg 3 pt shooter in the NBA (for now). Absolutely no reason he should be taking this many threes.
I have some crazy feeling that Anthony will explode tonight.
Even though he's yet to make one, his 3 point shot as the trailing man in transition (especially with his rebounding ability) is going to be a lethal weapon in this league and especially on a team like this that wants to take advantage of sound defense with easy buckets.
His 3 point attempts currently draw a collective groan from all of us but as he gets into shape and into an offensive rhythm, open 3s in transition from the top of the key are going to be a staple in this guy's game. Just my opinion.
meh. The only reason that I want my big men to be able to shoot, is so they are a threat and pull their defender out of the paint. I don't actually want them shooting a lot of 3's, and I certainly don't want my PF shooting transition 3's.
Bennett has struggled mightily but I think he will have a coming out game at some point where he scores puts up 25/10 in 25 minutes, a lot like Dion's big 35 point game against the Clippers last year. Once he does that he will recover his confidence.
Dion scored 28 points. And that is highly unrealistic.
Also, I know it's fun to bust Bennett's chops for being overweight and out of shape, but of those currently doing this, I'd wager that most aren't exactly studs at the gym either.
