Any Anime watchers?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I've been watching some of the new animes...

Chainsaw man isn't my genre, but it's got a ton of hype... You guys will have to let us know on that one lol

I haven't watched blue lock yet, but I probably will once there is more episodes out...

I have read the fan translations for Novice Alchemist and Beast Tamer... Both stories are on the more laid back pace side of things. I feel like they are rushing Novice Alchemist a lot, so I actually think that's really going to hurt the story. Beast Tamer, from reading it, will be a better anime than a light novel/web novel if they stick to the storyline.

Other two in the similar genre Reincarnated as a Sword and Stronger by Raising Farm Related Skills are also coming out. Reincarnated as a Sword should be fine for people who liked Skeleton Knight and Black Summoner. Arc is instead a sword and meets a battle junkie and helps her on her quest... The latter one, I'm not sure about, it's either boom or bust (I'll update later on what I think)

Spy Family and My Hero Academia have new seasons, enough said there...

There is a new Gundam also out, and more slices of life ones... it's a pack season, so @foucault87 you may want to read reviews as the season ends, since your list of what to watch could grow pretty quickly lol

I'm still a season and a half behind! I think last show I finished was s2 of 86

So far Beast Tamer, I feel like may end up being the sleeper of this season...

What's everyone been watching? Beast Tamer and Reincarnated as a Sword have been my two must watches so far...

Never watched dragon ball, dbz or anything. So my late night watching recently was all of dragon ball and now I'm on the namek saga of dbz.
How is that going? That's a lot of TV.

I haven't seen much of that but Hunter x Hunter is great and apparently Dragon Ball is the most obvious influence so maybe I'd enjoy if I was a bit more patient.

DB/DBZ gave me more of Yu Yu Hakusho vibes though which I didn't really like at all despite being the same author as HxH. Naruto and One Piece are similar, just didn't vibe with me when I tried them.

Weird cause my favorite anime is loosely in a genre that I can't get into otherwise... if anyone else has suggestions please throw them at me.

What genres do you like?

Around episode 40 of DBZ Kai. Freiza fighting the guys, Goku about to come out of his healing chamber.

I can't say DB/DBZ is "great" especially with regards to modern anime. I'd say great is reserved for things like Cowboy Bebop and Attack on Titan.

However, I always just felt that it's a part of pop culture that I should consume. So, that's what I'm doing.

I've been down to like half an episode a night before I fall asleep. Getting through this Freiza fight is a slog.

Kai isn't as good as the other versions btw... I wish they actually didn't edit the one that came state side so much lol

Maybe try jujutsu kaisen... Knowing the genre of shows you like will help since anime is made in all genres
