I went and binge watched it to catch up... It's not exactly everything I like, but it's worth putting on any anime watchers list...

Every episode is just like, ugh, so good, and some gorgeous visuals too.
Plus the theme song is catchy goodness.

I originally thought it was going to be a silly Yuri story, so since you mentioned, I was like, let's give it a shot and it's definitely got some enjoyable moments and plot twists...

Ps. I ended up watching My Roommate is a Cat... I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. If you are looking for slice of life with a wholesome story, add it to the list!

Next season of Anime is coming out!!!

The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic is for sure at the top of my watch list!!!

Also, Frieren is a must watch anime! It's on the lighter side when it comes to the story, but it's got a Violent Evergarden feel, but the heroes journey type of storyline

Like it has all the makings of a great anime, I just felt it wasn't executed very well, so I really didn't personally finish it...

Agreed. It's been 5 episodes and there are maybe 2 interesting characters

Not yet. Been a slow season. I started a few things but berserk is the first thing I made past episode 3

I'd do Apothecary Diaries next... It's actually extremely well done! It's still on going but it's at episode 17 and I am still enjoying it.
