Jabari Parker has a higher ceiling than Wiggins. With the current young team he could be the last puzzle for a homogeneous high talented team. İf there is a chance to get him, get him!
Jabari Parker isn’t a good player and he doesn’t have a high ceiling. We have enough data on him to know this. He wasn’t before his injuries (I know he was young) and he isn’t now after his injury.
—He cannot defend anyone let alone 1-4 which is ideal. His offense doesn’t make up for it.
—The Bucks have been better with Parker OFF the court EVERY season Parker has played.
In 336 minutes that Giannis and Jabari played together this season, the Bucks were outsourced by more than 8 points per 100 possessions, basically equivalent to a 20ish win piece of shit team. Kidd’s outdated defensive scheme (for those who don’t know about it, google Kidd’s defensive scheme thst makes ours look competent in comparison) didn’t help as Parker wasn’t suited for it, but I doubt he’s better in any schemes.
In all the other 2000+ minutes Giannis played without Parker, the Bucks were a solid +4.5 per 100 possessions, a 53-55 win type team.
THIS WAS BEFORE HIS INJURIES (posted this in 2015 Cavaliers Offseason Thread:
Players Parker guarded were shooting 51.6% against him compared to 44.6% against everyone else. From less than 10 feet, players he guarded were shooting 68.2%!! and 53.9% against everyone else. Parker's RPM was -2.70, 436th out of 474 players. His defensive RPM was -2.64, 440th out of 474 players.
Bucks ORtg with Jabari on court: 101.2
Bucks ORtg with Jabari off court: 103.3 (Bucks 2.1 points per 100 possessions better with Jabari off court)
Bucks DRtg with Jabari on court: 107.8
Bucks DRtg with Jabari off court: 100.9 (Bucks 6.9 points per 100 possessions better with Jabari of court)
In total, the Bucks are 9 points per 100 possessions BETTER with Jabari off court.
I’d say 16 years in the league and a two-time All-Star would be a success story given his knee injuries.Jabari Parker, meet Antawn Jamison. This is your future.
Apparently the heat are trying to trade him. I always liked Dion but would be worried about him fight over the ball with Sexton. I'd take him over Clarkson if they were on the same contract but that addition year that Dion has hurts out flexibility. I would want him in the same role as Clarkson though as the lead guy for the second unit, at least I've seen Dion pass the ball more than a handful of times.
Fuck no. It's the same reason I want Hood gone. You want Dion waiters back ?
You want Dion waiters back ?
What backcourt duo would be most dysfunctional?
A. Clarkson-Waiters
B. Clarkson-JR
C. Clarkson-Hood
D. Waiters-JR
E. Waiters-Hood
F. JR-Hood

We may have different definitions of "clutch." Dion has never gone far enough or ever been in a winning situation to be a "clutch" player. Not to mention he has the clutch gene.
I don't think it's likely that Porter will take the leap Oladipo did. But playing next to Wall (and Beal), I think he's trapped in a 3&D role the same way Oladipo was in OKC. He has some solid ballhandling/creating skills, but rarely gets to put them to use. I'm not generally in favor of reloading and trying to make the playoffs this year, but if we go that route, trading Love and Korver for Porter, filler, and a future first would be an interesting option. Just my 2 cents.
