Question because I’d imagine it’s going to become relevant with Baker in a few years. If a player makes a ton of money through sponsorships and endorsements...like say 10x the amount of his player contract, would that make the player more willing to sign an extension for a discounted price? It seems like Tom Brady has been doing this for years.

It feels like it would be easy to circumvent the cap in this way, especially if said sponsorship is also a sponsor of the team.

Too be fair you are not Tom Brady either, by no means is Gizell the only super model Brady could have sex with. That said, the seem happily married and while I am not a fan of Brady, I am a fan of happy marriages in the real world.

And for the record, I think Gizell isn't the real reason he gives discounts, Its because he is worth 200 million already and is rich no matter what. I think Brees gives the saints somewhat of a discount too. Brees just restructured and makes 25 million over the next to years, 10 mill + a year under what he could get.
