I can tell this is a basketball forum first, because you guys keep putting the "i" from "Naismith" into Joe Namath's name.

You just did.I like football more than basketball to be honest, but when in my 15 years on here have I ever spelled anything correctly?

They allow squirrels on Tinder now? Or are you using a different app?Even a blind squirrel find a nut.
i think trying to judge these QB's after 2.75 seasons is a bit disingenuous (well expect for the obvious 1-Rosen who is all but a complete bust). But if you want to play this game.Let's get back to the real topic, folks: how the Browns ended up with the 3rd best QB in his draft class and thank Zeus we didn't take either of the two guys the fans wanted.

Right now I see almost no argument for any of them to fall outside of the following Jackson, Baker, Allen, Darnold, and finally Rosen. Jackson won and MVP, Baker is by far the best passer, Allen while pretty mediocre will be in the playoffs for 2 out of 3 years. Darnold actually started a couple of seasons. Rosen sucks dick and is basically out of the league.
Going forward. I expect Jackson to fall off a damn cliff (because he is a run first QB, and without expect all run first QBs have fallen off a cliff). We are already seeing it, but i would imagine by 2025 (At the latest) the Ravens are looking for another starting QB. That leaves Baker and Allen. If Baker can actually put it together (Which is slowly happening, but who knows) he becomes a top 5-12 range QB for 10 years. Allen has the potential to fall into the same category but who knows. The rest... well who cares.
The concern I have with Baker is that even though he's only a 3rd year guy on his 3rd or 4th offensive system, he's not a young kid. He's 25. It's hard to project a lot of upside at this point. It could happen, but I think it is hard to expect to see it if we don't see it soon. I think we are finally at the make or break point for Baker. I feel that the next two games are going to tell a lot about which direction his career is going to go.
Honestly, the only time I can remember a QB growing and developing physically in a positive way after he entered the pros was Drew Brees. This is qb in football, not basketball. Growth is both physical, but also mental. Mental growth is with exposure. He isn't a fully baked product yet. He might not get faster, stronger better arm, but he doesn't need a better arm, many, many qb's, in fact almost all the greats, grew the most from 24-28 or so. Plenty of time left for Baker to grow.

Baker already has the arm strength that Brees developed in the NFL, so no worries there. It's all mental development at this point.
