After watching the game last night, it’s safe to say Baker is better than what people give him credit for and is not as easily replaceable as people think. A healthy Baker last night and the browns win by 2-3 Td’s. Hopefully he can heal enough to play against Pittsburgh, bc Keenum starting scares the shit out of me against there defense

You know that tired cliche about the athlete that only cares about winning? I feel like a very small percentage of players care as much about the team winning as Baker Mayfield does.

I sensed some insinuations (I'm not directing this at you, BTW) that Baker was putting himself above the team by insisting on playing. I think he knows that even with a broken wing, he probably gives his team a better chance to win.

Also, his seeking out a 2nd opinion makes so much more sense in light of Glazer's report of a fractured humerus. The fracture is probably what caused the team to shift gears and advise Baker to take some time to heal.

Agree 100%. I bet that fracture was probably really difficult to see on the MRI because other stuff was in the way, and the team doctor probably said "i think its cracked, but cant 100% tell". Like you said the team at that point said "nope you are done" and Mayfield said "hold up, he isnt 100% sure lets get another opinion".

Which is what happened to my shoulder when i fell off a ladder. MRI suggested a cracked head of the humerus but the doctor couldnt be 100%. It was ultimately pretty irrelevant because of all of my other injuries, however it was suggested I could go get another MRI if i really wanted to know.

A healthy Baker and we only have 1 or 2 losses and i truly believe that.

A healthy Baker is not a top 5 QB, but he is top 10 and unless we can get Russell Wilson or maybe 3 seasons of Rodgers, he is the best we can get our hands on and no, drafting a QB is not the answer either.

I agree. Got dang TJ Watt. the Steelers offense is ASS though so maybe the defense won't let them go off too much.

The only complaint I have about Baker is holding on the ball too long. I'd not be mad if he checked down, got rid of the ball or just screened it out some plays. Accuracy has suffered this year I believe because of the injury.

The Browns don't have Ravens luck this season. 60-yard FG, the bullshit in the Colts game, so on and so forth.
What they have gotten is really bullshit officiating. That Chargers game will piss me off forever. They tried it again in the Denver game but the Browns got a win.
