Ohio State V. Michigan. NO DOUBT. As homer as that sounds it's true. It's the absoulte HATRED that both teams/coachs/players/fans even states share. It's amazing. Honest to goodness, OSU v. Michigan beats them all. I wish I woulda been alive for the Woody/Bo days. Basically the hay-days of the rilvary.

The whole thing got interesting in 1968. OSU was killing Michigan 48-14 or some puny number like that. With just seconds on the clock, OSU had just scored. So what did Woody do? Went for 2! Classic moment. OSU got the 2 pt conversion as well. After the game he was asked why he went for 2? "Becuase I couldn't go for 3." One of my all-time favorite lines. Legend has it that Hayes's bus was getting low on gas while they were in Michigan, and someone suggested to stop and get gas. Good ol' Woody told him that he wouldn't put a single dollar into this state, and he'd push the bus over the line if he had to. I love that about him.

It's dragged on, the flame becoming lite forever by the fans. My crowding moment of life was the INT in the '02 game, where OSU went on to win the national championship. That's why many of these teams coaches (OSU's Tressel) are brought in. Only to beat the other team.

The energy that goes into the games the week before is truly awe-inspiring.

I'm so proud to apart of the rilvary, and I have yet to but will go to one of these games in Columbus.

There are just not enough words for this.

I hope sheedy and james dont embarass themselves talking about the Sux and Bankees.

These kids are not earning money for these games, they aren't the watered down tainted steroid abusers in the mlb. College Sports in terms of character > Pros.

I agree with what cdt is saying... College rivalries or games in general are more interesting because of the non money factor and there aren't a lot of college players out their taking performance enhancing drugs..

I also think the overall college atmosphere is more exciting, especially with their being a better chance of an underdog winning..

All in all, OSU vs. Michigan ,without a doubt in my mind, is the BEST rivalry in all of sports..

Best rivalry has to be Yankees/Sox. That's the most anticipated games and everyone knows that.. everytime they play you know its on ESPN or Fox 8

Michigan OSU....Boston can lose to NY all year and then make it to the playoffs and as long as they do well there it will be looked at as a good season....minus losing to the Ynaks in the postseason


If you lose the OSU Michigan game your entire year is thrown off...sorry pal Mich OSU anyday of the week and twice on Sundays over yanks sox

everyone watches ohio state vs michigan.

every football fan, no matter if they hate collage football or love it, they will atleast see some of the game.

but if the browns can get a decent team and give steelers a fight, then that can once again be the biggest rivalry in sports. but for now ohio state vs michigan. although ohio state always wins.

I have a house in texas. my grandma use to live there before she passed. i been going down there about 4 years now, and i ALWAYS see ohio state mich games on there local TV. so i say it must be pretty good down there.

they also play ohio state mich games in iraq for the soldiers, so im gonna guess it is alittle big.

You cant compare baseball to football period. MLB is a joke, bunch of overpaid underperformers on steroids.

Compare a bunch of drunk fat New Yorkers to a bunch of screaming college kids I think we know who wins that one.

The Sox vs Yanks has no bearings whatsoever. The Yankees can win or lose all 15 games or whatever and still beat up on the Jays O's and D-Rays where the Sox might struggle against them.

If you lose a game in the last week of the season your bowl hopes are shattered. Plus theres no wildcard in College Football basically saying well your not good enough to win the division but we'll let you in the playoffs anyway.
