Bike Messengers in NYC

I hate these guys so much. They dont stop for anything and they dont obey any traffic laws. If you are in their way while walking, they expect you to move. They literally run their bikes right into groups of people and if the people dont move they get hit and the bikers keep going. Sometimes they yell out a "whoop" or something to at least let people know they are coming because if you are walking through the streets you cant even hear them. A buddy of mine had his SUV run into by one of these guys in Toronto and cause quite a bit of damage and the biker got up and pedaled off. Anyone else run into problems with these guys?

cool shit, we have them in DC, but not that bad, traffic in the downtown area isnt as bad as that, but man, all it takes is for one car to not know what they are doing and your going to get lit up and possibly **** up your leg for the rest of your life.

I thought it was funny that he cared more that his bike just got crushed then the fact that his leg almost got crushed. Thats hardcore.
