Smith is playing awesome. We need to run more of the delonte pushing the ball up and lebron running on the baseline getting the ball our offense looks way crisper

Couldn't have asked for more.
Literally everyone that hit the floor contributed and played to their individual strengths.
Ben played excellent d, skied for rebounds and was lights out from the free throw line.
Wally hit his shots early and allowed us to spread the floor even more.
Joe Smith had what may have been his best game as a Cav and saved it for just the right time. Pretty sure he broke out every weapon in his offensive aresenal. Deep js, baby hooks, floaters...all of them went in.
Z was Z. Hitting js, grabbing boards and keeping us out in front when other guys cooled down.
LeBron is still not hitting on all cylinders. But it was great to see him hitting threes tonight. Maybe the best defensive game I've seen him play this year. He was everywhere and put his stamp on the game in a lot of ways tonight. This was a perfect night for him to take a few low pressure j's and get back in the groove. We'll see next game if a 5/16 performance (that didn't look as bad as it sounds) is enough to get him back on track.
Delonte was lights out. He played smart, he lit it up from outside, he made some excellent drives to the basket and kept the offensive flowing well.
Sasha was, is and always has been a beast.
Boobie was pretty insignificant, but damnded if LBJ didn't set him up for a three at the end. Nice.
My favorite things we did tonight...
(1) We were taking our shots somewhere between 5 and 15 seconds on the shot clock. No rushing and no ground, pound and hope for a rebound bullshit tonight. Which was partially due to...
(2) Good ball movement. It could have been better at times and we got a few lucky breaks, but the guys were setting each other up very well tonight. The guards kept the game flowing, the bigs kept the ball on the right side of the court and everyone contributed to the scoring. It was a lot like game 6 of the Wiz series. A complete game.
(3) Amazing defense. LBJ led the charge on this one and Big Ben was close behind. Z played some good help d and I felt that Delonte and Wally earned their money on the defensive side as well. I didn't see anyone getting burned consistently. We did a good job of man to man defense and we did maybe even a better job of helping out, especially on shots.
(4) The crowd was INTO IT. Granted, the Cavs are a good home team and this was a must win but...you can see what the Wiz were talking about when they mentioned our crowd as particularly ravenous. Love it.
(5) Adjustments...OK so Mike didn't really have to make too many in game adjustments. What he did do (imo) was a good job of substitutions and establishing effective lineups. The gameplan everyone on here was asking for worked. LBJ played off the ball quite a bit, there was a lot of ball movement, cutting and avoiding traps and the effort was there all the way through the game. We didn't really have any bad quarters on either side of the ball and I was impressed with our third quarter effort starting about halfway through.
Great game, gonna have to do it three more times.
