The "not checking the trunk" complaint, and no offense at all to anybody saying that, but it's just...ridiculous to me. Like, this is a show with so many small logic leaps like this (just like EVERY piece of fiction, ever), and we're nitpicking just this one? Is it because it's the finale? I mean, it isn't even a logic leap, come to think of it. It's that hard for someone to believe they didn't open Walt's trunk to make sure he didn't have a fucking machine gun attached to a remote swivel?
Lydia and the ricin? THAT is one thing I liked, but definitely think could have been way tidier if they sat and planned it out a little better. Certainly, Jesse's "epiphany" about the ricin a few episodes ago was one of my big complaints, remember? It just did not feel tidy at all, although that one may have been a little harder to clean up and find another way for Jesse to figure out Walt poisoned Brock. But...not checking the trunk? Just can't get onboard. No disrespect to anyone who it's bugging, but I just think it's petty.
