IT'S ON!
Dilfer is pissed. He has blood in his eyes saved back from 2001 when Bill "the offensive guru" Billick decided not resign Dilfer after the 2000 Super Bowl win. Dilfer is looking for revenge. And nothing is sweeter than beating the very team that let you walk after taking that team to the Super Bowl. Sure, some of you will say, "Hey, it was the Ravens Deffense that took them to the big dance." People fail to realise that without a "Game Managing QB", the the team is nothing more than a chicken running around with its head cut off. And basicly the 2005 Ravens are just that. A great deffensive team without a leader at QB...without someone like Dilfer.
Dilfer is fired up. "They're all big weeks," Dilfer said. "But this one, obviously, has a little something extra to it for me." He is more than prepeared. "Bitterness is an ugly thing," Dilfer said. "I try to just let the experience sharpen me and make me stronger as a person, and I think I've done that. This should be fun to watch."
This will be fun to watch indeed Mr. Dilfer. But this woun't be a one man recking crew marching into the STD infested Baltiwhore. No, Dilfer woun't have Edwards due to an elbow infection, but he will have Antonio Briant, and the ever hard-runner in Rouben Droughns...
As much as the Ratbirds are playing like the criminals that they are, they are still a bunch of tough criminals. The Browns can't just march in and expect to be handed the win! No, No, NO! They still have a tough deffense and a BIG running back in Jamel Lewis. And the Browns are ranked 30th in the league in Rush Deffense. So this woun't be a walk in the park for the Browns in general. It will be tough, but it will really be the "battle of the wills." And we know as usual, Ray Lewis will have his team motavated...starting with his pre-game dancing rituals...
If the Browns do come away with the win, they really will kill any hope that the Raven fans had of their beloved team making a run for the playoffs. After the Browns, the Ravens face a strong team, the Bears. The Ravens' future is not looking too bright.
I see the Browns winning in a tough game.
Browns: 21
Ratbirds: 9
